Victor Sanders is a contemporary artist and graduate of the renowned Central Saint Martins. Describing himself as a self-proclaimed “contemporary expressionist,” his work explores autobiographical themes of life and memory through expressive use of colour and texture.
Working primarily with traditional oil on canvas, later incorporating acrylics, Victor balances control of the image with the natural evolution of paint and colour. Through layering and sanding back surfaces, he reveals traces of the past within each piece.
His work has been exhibited privately and included in exhibitions at the Royal Academy of Arts.
Following a twenty-year career break, Victor has returned to painting and is now beginning to sell his portfolio again.

Lanchester Polytechnic (now Coventry University)
